What Happened Today?
DAY 9: CATHERDANIEL TO SNEEM
The bus tickets to Sneem and our next B&B (Sneem River Lodge) cost 4.80 Euros each. We arrived in Sneem at 11:30 AM. We walked around the town.
Kay still had several very bad blisters on her feet. We stopped at the Post and I bought some post cards and stamps… sent 2 to Gulf Coast Chemical. We ordered a cup of coffee and found a Pub for a pint of Smithwick’s and lunch.
We asked for a bowl of mushroom soup with brown soda bread and a salami/provolone cheese toasted sub. All the food was good.
We walked to our B&B and checked in. We relaxed for a few hours. We read and watched 1 of 3 channels on the TV.
Around 4:30 PM, we walked back to the village and went to Riney’s which was a combination Pub and convenience store. There was no USA today, so I bought The Irish Times, but it was difficult to read the fine print.
