What Happened Today?
Yvonne took us to the airport.
Southwest flight left at 10:30 AM. We flew to Birmingham, St. Louis (an aborted approach due to a plane on the runway.), Kansas City and then San Diego. View of the San Diego area from the airplane window always inspires me.
Weather is cool… 65 degrees. We arrived 30 Minutes late at 4:30 PM.
Some of our luggage was wet.
We checked into the Pacific Terrace and hung up our wet clothes.
We had rented a Taurus car from Avis.
We drove to Keith’s house. Mom, Kay and I went to the Hungry Stix for cheeseburgers and 2 pitchers of Smithwick’s.
Back to the hotel around 12 PM.
We never had a trip where the plane made 4 stops.
