What Happened Today?
Checked out of Pacific Terrace around 7:30 AM.
Filled the rental car with gas and drove to the San Diego airport. Returned car to Avis.
Southwest flight left at 10:00 AM for Las Vegas. Arrived at 11:30 AM. We collected our luggage and waited in a long taxi line. We took a taxi to The Orleans which was about 3 miles from the Tropicana. We checked into our room and then went downstairs to gamble.
Hit the ATM for $500. Kay took $240 and I took $260. We played several slot machines.
I hit a 7 times 2 nickel machine for 700 nickels.
Dinner at Al’s Oyster Bar. Kay ordered Manhattan clam chowder. I ordered Boston clam chowder. We split an order of steamed clams.
Finally ran out of steam around midnight.
