What Happened Today?

I woke up, showered, dressed and went downstairs to hopefully win some money. Kay was still sleeping. She joined me about 30 minutes later.

We decided to walk to Treasure Bay Casino. Long walk… maybe 4 miles.

We stopped at a seafood restaurant for lunch and video games. Best oyster Po-Boy I’ve ever had. Kay ordered a roast beef Po-Boy. We played some video games then walked another 20 minutes to Treasure Bay.

Much smaller than the Beau Rivage. We found a section of machines (Pink Panther, Price Check and Cleopatra) where we played for hours and won a little money. We had dinner at Menio’s. We ordered mushroom soup and seafood nachos.

Then we took a taxi back to the Beau Rivage to watch American Idol. Anwar was voted off. Six singers left.

In bed early.

What Happened Today?

Met Mark Staack at coffee location at 7:30 AM.

Delivered coffee and a blueberry muffin to Kay.

Then I attended SSCT talks and tabletop displays until 2:00 PM.

Met Kay in the room and we went back downstairs to gamble. I hit a 5-quarter machine for 250 quarters.

Met up with Natu Patel. We drank a few beers. Later,

Kay and I attended the SSCT Banquet… fun time. The food was cold.

Kay and I went with Mark and Tracy to the Brewery Pub for a karaoke competition… which Tracy entered and won the 1^st round. Mark sang Joy to the World. He was praying the song would end. I told Mark it took a lot of courage to sing that song. We stayed until 1:00 AM.
